The Big Island of Hawaii offers many things here and only here. Click here to see 25 Facts about the Big Island.
We will be updating this particular page often with more and more things to do here. rainbowWith 13 different climate zones, as an example of the diversity, this is one of the only places in the world where you can snow board at 25 degrees temperature on Mauna Kea and an hour later be surfing in 80 degree waves at Hapuna Beach! funWe love this island for many different reasons. It is kind of a hidden gem. When people on the mainland talk about going to Hawaii they are usually referring to Maui or Honolulu (Oahu). Elvis Presley made Kauai popular. Molokai is only 260 square miles, Lānaʻi is only 180 square miles, Niʻihau is the “forbidden Isle” and Kahoʻolawe is only 44.6 square miles! All of these islands combined are not as big as the Big Island. The Big Island is 4,028 square miles, about the size of the state of Connecticut!
Akaka FallsOur journey will take you to waterfalls, secluded beaches, historical destinations, State and Federal Parks and many other featured attractions. We will supply maps of how to get there and what to do when you are there! Join us on our adventure by “Liking Us” on Facebook or following our Twitter Feed. You are going to be surprised on what you can do on Hawaii and it may change your mind on what is the best Hawaiian Island!

Places we will be exploring include: Volcano National Park, Pana’ewa Rain forest Zoo, Hilo Tsunami Museum, Kealakekua Bay and many, many more featured attractions!
